General contracting is the most common delivery method used by Altmann Construction in which the general contractor assumes full responsibility of cost control, risk management and schedule. This allows us to provide a complete package of construction services on a lump sum, guaranteed maximum price or time and material basis.  It’s our responsibility to manage the day to day operations of the site, coordinate subcontractors and maintain clear and open communications between clients, architects and subcontractors.

Acting as your general contractor, we will usually self perform the site work, concrete, carpentry and masonry work in coordination with our experienced project management staff. From preconstruction planning to schedule to close out, our experienced staff and subcontractors work together to make your project’s deadlines, budget and quality control standards.
