NOTE: Construction on this fast track project began in the middle of winter and was completed in three phases, with the Dance Education Center first, then Les’ Upholstery and finally Precision Cellular & Sound. The result was the Sunset Plaza in Stevens Point.
All three businesses reside adjacent to each other. Les’ owned the original property and building in which Les’ and DEC resided. Altmann Construction performed the site work for all three buildings.
Locating and staging all three buildings was a challenge as the site was extremely tight. By the request of the Village of Park Ridge, a storm water filtration system was designed and constructed onsite as it will accept all of the storm water runoff for all three buildings.
The exterior was completed in EIFS and cement board siding. As an added bonus, the asphalt from the original parking lot was recycled and reused as road base for all three parking lots.
